Festival of the First (FoF) is a review of works by authors of various artistic profiles.

It is a constituent part of Zagreb Film Festival initiated in 2003 with the purpose of promoting creative work.

FoF will be held in SC, Savska 25, Zagreb from October 12 to 16, 2004.


FoF rules:

1. Authors may apply to FoF regardless of their age.
2. The condition for application or participation is that authors make their first appearance in the category they apply for - visual artist with the first published book, film director as a choreographer, designer as a singer, etc. Works may belong to any artistic category.
3. FoF may be applied to on invitation or through the contest.
4. The award for the best work according to the Jury is called Golden Bib, and the winner will be given 1000 Euro in all categories.
5. The FoF Jury is selected by the FoF Committee freely and according to its own choice. The Jury consists of five members.
6. FoF will decide on the subject of the Festival. The subject is compulsory for the participants.
7. The subject of the 2nd FoF is Genetically Modified Organisms and biotechnology.
8. Artists may apply to the 2nd FoF by September 10, 2004. The FoF Committee selects the program within following seven days.
